It doesn't matter that you are born this way (unintentional GaGa reference), Gillard believes that either you're born straight, or you have less rights than those that were. Her (Third time?) shutting it down & She's PROUD of it.
Very recently, in a move backed by the Green Party, an Australian MP proposed that the issue of equal marriage be put to the public for a vote. Now i believed that Julia Gillard would take this opportunity to tell us a little white lie ...a steaming PILE OF SHIT about her sudden change of heart, her newfound support for Marriage equality and how it's all completely unrelated to the upcoming elections. But I know Gillard would never promise something during an election campaign that she wouldn't deliver after winning.... uhh... right??
So anyway, then i saw this:

Far out. That didn't take long. Julia Gillard (in an attempt to be like Thatcher?) has laid down the law with marriage equality and this is what she keeps telling us:
We don't believe in Equality
&
We will not allow the public opinion to be heard
We will not allow the public opinion to be heard
I'm yet to be "educated" with valid reasons why marriage equality is bad.
I heard that one of the reasons is that a kid should always have 1 father & 1 mother.I know people would only say this if it were based on facts right..?
So i'm guessing it has been medically proven that the physical & mental well-being of kids is in direct correlation to the household ratio of penis to vagina?
